Communications Planner

Commitment: 1 full day a week (9-5)

Location: Hybrid

The role: Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH) is seeking a highly organised Communications Planner to work alongside our communications manager. We have big ideas for events and campaigns, but a small team. We are looking for someone who can take the creative vision and break it down into a clear, actionable schedule for the Manager to execute.

What you’ll do:
The Weekly Roadmap: You will sit down with the Communications Manager to discuss everything that needs to happen. You will turn that conversation into a prioritised “To-Do” list for the week, flagging deadlines and critical timelines.

Event Prep: You won’t make the bookings, but you will prepare the info. You will research venues, leads, costs, etc.

Supporter Briefings: You will dig through our data to find the supporters we need to thank this week. You will prepare a “Briefing Note” for each one (who they are, history, key info).

You are detail-oriented and task driven

You have experience in event planning and organising

You are comfortable working collaboratively and independently

You are happy researching and verifying information

You are passionate about improving the lives of marginalised people
