Housing Crisis - Admin Support

Shifts: Monday – Friday : 13:00 – 17:00

Time commitment preference: 2+ afternoons a week

Team: HCIS (Housing Crisis Intervention Service)

Task: Data entry. When new people register for our support, the initial intake and interview are recorded on paper, the task is to add those paper notes to our database in a timely and structured way (training provided).

Location: Shared office with the HCIS team at KCAH main offices.

Additional tasks: While the drop-in service closes at 13:00, you may be required to answer the door and greet people arriving for pre-booked appointments.

Environment: We work with a wide range of people, some of whom may be vulnerable, complex, or experiencing trauma. We treat everybody with the same high level of respect and dignity regardless of their situation and presentation.

 

About You

You are kind, open-minded and non-judgmental.

You are experienced with reading and transcribing hand-written notes.

You are confident and able to ask questions where necessary.

You are discrete and sensitive to the personal information of others.

You are looking for a great reference on your CV after 6 months of volunteering.
