The 24-Hour Survival Challenge is the ultimate test of endurance for our borough. On 19 September 2026, we are inviting 50 resilient individuals to take on a 24-mile journey that mirrors the stamina and grit required by our service users to move from the street to a sanctuary.

This is more than a hike; it is a physical commitment to our new three-year mission to ensure every single adult in Kingston has a front door of their own. You will walk 12 miles, camp overnight under the stars, and trek the 12 miles back to the start the following morning.

The Mission

  • The Date: 19 September 2026.
  • The Target: 50 participants, each raising a minimum of £500 in sponsorship.
  • The Eligibility: This event is restricted to adults aged 18 and over.
  • The Impact: Every pound raised funds the front-line housing and support services that build long-term sanctuaries in our community.

Why You Should Be There

  • The Personal Milestone: A bucket-list achievement for anyone looking to push their physical limits while supporting a hyper-local cause.
  • The Logistics Elite: We are seeking volunteers for our most tactical roles. From route marshalling and water station management to pitching the base camp, your skills in logistics and operations are the backbone of this challenge.

Why Your Business Should Partner With Us

  • Colleague Engagement: There is no better way to build iron-clad team loyalty than through a shared physical challenge.
  • Reporting and Results: We provide the professional impact data and stories of resilience your firm needs for its CSR and ESG reporting.
  • Strategic Recognition: Sponsoring a “Refuelling Station” or entering a corporate squad ensures your brand is seen as a pillar of the Kingston community.

Promotion and Advocacy: Become a Challenge Ambassador

We want you to move beyond a “like” on social media. Advocacy is about influence.

  • Individuals: Share your training journey and explain to your network why the grit required for this challenge is just a fraction of what it takes to rebuild a life.
  • Companies: Use your voice to advocate for local housing solutions. Promote your team’s involvement as proof of your brand’s commitment to a safer, stronger Kingston.

Test your grit. Build a sanctuary. Register your interest for the 19th of September.
