For us to be able to help you, and conform to homelessness legislation, you must:

1. Be single – i.e. not in a partnership or have a family that also needs housing, (If this is the case please visit Kingston Council, they will help you).
2. Have a connection to Kingston – you normally have to be resident in the borough for six months out of twelve, or three years out of five.

The Housing Crisis Drop-in is open from 10am – 1pm every week day.

You will be met by a member of the housing crisis team, who will ask you your name and to confirm your local connection, after which you will be given 3 forms to complete.

These forms give us all the information and permissions we need to start to help you.

This is where we get to know you, get the full story, and the work begins. It’s important you are as open and truthful as you can be, an accurate picture of your circumstances help us target our support.

From this point on, our relationship has begun, we will do everything in our power to support you on your journey out of homelessness, all we ask in return is that you engage with us; answer the calls, reply to the texts, come in and see us or bring in the documents, together we will move you forward.
