The world is changing fast and it’s hard to keep up. As technology opens new gates and content floods through, we are required to react quickly and frequently in order to maintain the reliable, transparent perception of KCAH.
I don’t know about you, but I rarely scroll past the AI summary when I Google something these days, which means our content and messaging has to be on point and in a format that “our robot friends” (as I like to call them) can digest and regurgitate easily. So I’ve created the Impact Hub.
This is a new section on the website populated with content you will already be familiar with, primarily as it’s this newsletter split into categories, but there’s one area that will be new to everyone, and that’s our Quarterly Report!
A round-up of the last 3 months’ metrics, service by service with a current quote from a person we’ve supported in that service. If that wasn’t interesting enough (and I find it fascinating…) it’s also presented in a whizzy format! Do have a look, the numbers are a brilliant example of the work we do.
We’re also planning a special focus group session with some of the people we support, which will be a really valuable exercise in reviewing our services and hopefully finding ways to improve what we do.
There is a phrase “nothing about us, without us”, an ethos we operate by, but if we can codify and officiate it we will be able to evidence our commitment to collaborative, person-led and strength-based support.
Which leads me to you, our wonderful supporters, I want to hear from you too!
I’m planning a webinar and Q&A session for our autumn events, and I would love to know any questions you might have about them: Is the 24-hour challenge too challenging? Is the registration process for either event annoying? How do you feel about the sponsorship model?
We are the conduit between the change you want to see and the support you want to give, and the people whose lives we want to make a difference in.
You have my email address, let’s talk!
