Sleep Out to Help Out

SLEEP OUT TO HELP OUT - KIDS

Help raise vital funds for KCAH on 'World Homeless Day'.

In recent times, many people in the Kingston Borough have been forced into homelessness due to the pandemic and rising unemployment. Due to the recent cuts in Universal Credit, we are expecting an even sharper rise in the number of people coming to us for help, all at a time when funding is in very short supply. As the weather gets colder, your support is needed more than ever.

Please join our 'Sleep Out to Help Out' event on Saturday 9th October to mark World Homeless Day and raise vital funds for the work we do with local people in housing crisis.

WHAT IS A ‘SLEEP OUT’?

A ‘sleep out’ involves spending the night, somewhere other than your own bed. For example....

  • In a church or school hall

  • In a tent in your garden

  • Camping out in your living room.

Anyone of any age can join inindividuals, families or local school, church or community groupsWe want this to be a fun and thought-provoking event, rather than a test of endurance!
