About the Role

Are you passionate about helping people unlock their potential? KCAH is looking for an Asset Coach to support individuals out of homelessness and towards independent living. You’ll work across 11 shared houses in the borough of Kingston, building trusted relationships and helping residents identify and build on their strengths to achieve lasting change.

This role is part of a strengths-based approach to ending homelessness—not just managing it. You’ll be on the frontline, supporting people to regain confidence, connect with their community, and move forward with purpose.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work one-to-one with individuals to identify personal strengths, goals, and support needs
  • Empower residents to take steps toward independent living and self-reliance building life skills such as budgeting and employment
  • Facilitate access to relevant services, training, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with housing staff and local partners to coordinate support
  • Promote resilience, wellbeing, and positive outcomes

About You

  • Experience working with people facing homelessness or complex needs (or lived experience)
  • A strengths-based, person-centred approach to support
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and confident working across different settings
  • Committed to inclusion, empowerment, and long-term change
